Google Places Honest Intent Checker

Google launch new free Places and Maps search tool for assessing the ‘honest intent’ of your suppliers and customers. Need a supplier who’s word on quality and delivery you have to rely on? Taking on a customer to whom you will be extending credit to and relying on prompt payment in these cash flow critical times?

The tool is their new Spam Review Filter launched earlier this year.

For the test you need an established Google +Profile with good levels of Circles, in and out, and a steady Posting and Review history. You must be able to leave Excellent reviews for known honest businesses on their Google+ search result page. If you cannot leave Excellent reviews for anyone else then Google has determined you are a review or web content spammer. So you need to put your own house in order so you do not fail this simple test of honesty and integrity.

So to asses a customer or supplier leave them an Excellent review from your good +Profile. A simple sentence and ‘Spam check’ will do. The review will show for a short while until Google assess the reviewed business. If it disappears from a search for the business and also from your own Local – Your Places – # Reviews list then Google have detected review or web content spam. Do you want to trust a review or web content spammer in Googles eyes? Delete the review from your Posts or add a comment to share if you like.
