Para que los resultados de búsqueda en Google Maps muestren la información de su ficha de Google Places es importante que el nombre de su negocio, dirección y teléfono coincidan con los datos de su ficha.

El servicio de Yext PowerListings es especialmente útil para negocios nuevos que han realizado sus fichas via feeds, Localeze, Acxiom y Expressupdate.

Además, si cambia de ubicación, una vez que haya cerrado la entrada antigua en Google Maps y eliminado toda la información de la ficha antigua de Google Places, al ejecutar la actualización mediante Yext PowerListings, se actualizará también una gran proporción de la información contenida en directorios web. Tendrá que actualizar manualmente Localeze, Acxiom y Expressupdate y deberá verificar semanalmente mientras realice el proceso de limpieza de datos de la ficha antigua antes de generar la nueva ficha.

Yext Reviews and the new product Yext PowerListings which enables you to syndicate your Google Places data accurately across many popular web directories.

One client has used this service to tidy up the web data for five offices in one metropolitan area.

One office had moved location but kept the same phone no.  They had not Closed the old location properly in the past.  Google were scraping duplicate listings for the old location or merging it over the new locations search listings.

I made a new Places entry to match the old location and then Closed the Google Maps search Listing properly and then Deleted the old Places entry from the temporary account.  A few subsequent duplicate scrapes for the old location were reported properly.

Applying the Yext update service for the new location then refreshed all the web directory data for the new location.  It then showed with the right details in search and accumulated statistics in the Places account.

Having consistent business name, address and phone no (NAP) across the web allowed Page 1 position A ranking for all 5 Places Categories.

Yext customer support was very good and it was a cost effective solution for updating the web directories serviced by Yext PowerListings.

The benefit with the years service is the ability to offer regular offers across the web directories with just one edit of the Yext data.  Also one can tune the categories and description content once the Places entry is live and statistics are reported in the Places account.

This is a second product offered by Yext.  The original service has been re-branded Felix.  This was a pay-per-call advert service. There were some negative reviews as the cost of client acquisition is not always analysed by a business properly. Also they had to keep on top of their own call logging to ask for refunds on calls not filtered out by Yexts speech to text technology and algorithmic checks.
